FornaX RDS AI Connect (the "App") is provided by GLOOVIR Inc. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to the FornaX RDS AI Connect app.
1. Summary
The App does not collect, store, or share your personal information.
The App does not require an account or login and does not include advertising, analytics, or user tracking.
2. How the App Uses the Network
- Server Discovery. The App uses your local network to discover FornaX RDS servers that advertise their presence on the same network.
- Server Check. When you open a server or check a server by entering its address, the App makes a single connection request to that server, reads only the initial response, and immediately closes the connection. It does not log in or start a remote desktop session.
- Server Information. Information displayed in the App — including the server name, address, RDP port, server version, installed AI features, and server check results — is provided by the corresponding FornaX RDS server. This information is displayed only on your Mac and is not retained after you quit the App. It is not transmitted to GLOOVIR Inc. or any other third party.
- Name Resolution. When you enter a server name, your Mac resolves the corresponding address using the operating system's standard network name resolution services.
3. Privacy and Data Processing
3.1 Information We Collect
We do not directly collect any personal information or user data through the App.
Information processed by the App is used only on your device. The App does not transmit user data to GLOOVIR Inc. or third parties and does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting code.
However, if you have chosen to share analytics information with app developers in your Mac settings, Apple may provide GLOOVIR Inc. with analytics information such as crash reports and usage statistics related to the App. We use this information solely to identify errors and troubleshoot issues with the App.
3.2 Information Advertised by a FornaX RDS Server
A Mac running FornaX RDS may advertise the following information to devices on the same local network.
- Server name
- RDP port
- Server version
- List of AI features installed in that build
It does not advertise license information, user names, login status, usage history, or AI settings.
Server administrators can disable this feature underFornaX RDS Settings › Advanced Options › Advertise this Mac on the local network.
3.3 Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updated Privacy Policy will be posted on this page. If you continue to use the App after an update, the revised Privacy Policy will apply.
